@Xytos Gootecks was showing the kid respect by treating him the same as he would any other tournament player that got to that point, regardless of age. Afterward Gootecks turned around and gave him advice. A lot of people don't seem to get that many kids don't want to be treated special because they're young - sparing him the smack talk would be like saying he can't take it, and thus not as worthy of respect as anyone else. I like that Gootecks talked to him like an adult.
