The PowerMeter 100 is one of the premier annual events in Boston where El Planeta newspaper honors 100 exceptional individuals who have best influenced the Latino community in Massachusetts over the past year. This year's elegant gala was held on March 1st... for the very first time at the beautiful new Arts of the Americas wing at the Museum of Fine Arts. The PowerMeter 100 is an honored group of people... that not only includes and recognizes Latinos, but also anyone - whatever their background - who have made significant and positive acheivements and contributions through their work for the advancement of Boston's vibrant Hispanic community. The recipients of this annual prestigious honor run the gamut of professions doctors, businessmen, entreprenuers, media and so much more. The diversity of the honorees and their accomplishments in benefitting Boston's Latino community is truly impressive. The powermeter 100 is an event that attracts many to attend this annual celebration including some of the state top politicians. This years event was even special because it was held at the MFA's new wing of the Americas.
