@thedomonator apparently the original cranks were modular and pressed together so if one chose...? and had extra donor engines...? a bespoke crank could be reassembled into any combination.
sounds like a 4-stroke V4 (180 crank honda VFR) with a high frequency 2-stroke sound overtop. or more likely, that crankshaft has some crossplane elements to it (90 degree throws) and it's akin to a 2-stroke version of yamaha's current R1. bassiest 2-stroke i ever heard. best of the lot. in short, how many of my children do i have to sell...??? LOL
it sounds like 12 bikes simultaneously together lol. It's such shame they have that massive vibration sound as the revs get higher. tell u wot u shud do the vid again but take the airbox of and you will cream your pants to eternity!!
What a great machine you built. It has an interesting eerie, "ghostly" sound, like the original sound is in the background, but haunted by another tune... weird!
I'd be interested to hear more about power & torque, anything technical you can add, when you get the time to post again (I can guess at the fuel consumption!).
Five is too wide.I'd prefer a four. But it's awesome still, of course.
