Did this ever end up working for you? I recently ordered 100 magnets and this looks like a promising design. I can think of no reason why this would not work.

"An interesting approach"
Yes, another interesting approach, a motor that makes a quarter turn and then stops.

this will not work because if you have magnets going all the way around the circles/cogs then there will also be an equal force in the opposite direction

Free Energy is real but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

@magneticveil its been a year since U wrote this comment....how much money did U lose???

Magnetic shielding does not block field force lines. Magnetic field lines cannot be broken, only bent. The repulsion is indeed greater at the top. When the magnets are near the bottom, the field lines have a larger distance to travel because they go around the shielding. The machine will stop with the magnets on the outside bottom and unwilling to approach again towards the middle.

I'll take that bet.
at present my cogs are about 25 mm or an inch in diameter, but , it doesn't matter really, I originally intended to make the first one using cd's... use whatever scale you like ;)

I am sure it will work too, I have ordered some magnets, disk type, outer ring is north , inner hole south
All that is needed is a small influence on one side

you don't agree that there are materials that hinder magnetic fields? ;-)

The only mention of blocking , comes from you, I have not said blocking is important ;) why the obsession with this word? At most I think I said 'AFFECTING".... lol

Ok, and I again I tell you...you are wrong, and deep down you know it...
A few years from now, what I am saying will be "nothing special" and what you are saying will be, the "old hat" disbelievers ;)

The shield only has to hinder the magnetic field in the slightest way, for it to work. There are many materials that affect and repel and attract magnetic fields. I didn't say lead would "block" a magnetic field ;-)
Also the shielding can go beyond the point it is shown in the diagram.
Years ago, speakers were employed in tv sets , with shields, so the magnets did not affect the CRT tube.
I have two cogs ready to test this idea, but no magnets as yet :-(
