@janitormopmop there is a really nice beach at the Marriot next door and one of the best beaches on the big island is only 6 miles north - Mauna Kea Beach

I'm here right now and the only thing i can say is wow. So many things to do the Lagoon is awesome, you can kayak in it for 12 bucks. Theres a dozen turtles within 20 feet from you and the restaurants are great. Go here.

Baha i loooove this place. i live on hilo side , but still . i looove the hilton. it makes hawaii look good hahaaha.
