Up until last November I was a single parent of two teenagers that could not afford to buy food. I made a promise to myself that if I ever made it out of poverty I would support local food banks. Now, every month $20.00 comes off my credit card and goes to the food bank. It is not much but every little bit helps. I encourage everyone who can afford to donate do this. There is no reason for there to be not enough food on Canadian tables. Be part of the solution. xo
