I respect that you do not want people asking how you made this but how does the firing mechanism works?

light grenade with a bit heavier head, at the bottom you need a metal case, where you put the charge to blow it out. if the case is to weak, your grenade will blow to pieces. Important: strong but light case for the charge. case does not need to be attached to the grenade, it just pushes the grenade out.

you need to keep the shells lightweight not only for performance but hitting someone with a 3lbs shell is not too pleasant...

get a piece of pvc pipe the size of an m203 grenade shell which can be bought cheap at cobra airsoft then put an end cap on the bottom end of your pvc pipe and put a nail or screw in it that will push the button on the back of the shell.way cheaper than black powder.

My friend and I are using a converted potato gun (pvc pipe with pressurized air tank and a valve trigger) as an airsoft mortar, finally we have a use for our .12 gram bbs we started with years ago that are useless now that we've moved to .2's. It wreaks havoc, but this thing is amazing

@snuffying lol he said it uses black powder... there for a real mortar cose it isn't using a spring... he is just using air-soft ammo witch in cash isnt the real deal
