I love this sequence, I love the music. The thing I most love about this sequence is the guy is up against absolutely hopeless, insurmountable odds, and there is this instant where you see in Rene Russo's face that she suddenly realizes he's going to pull it off. And he does.

I would have Loved to been with Renee Russo back at the Hotel I ran in Nevada back in the 70's, She would have been proud of me...A true Lover of a Lifetime she was...Bless you both...

can someone that have watched this movie explain me the restaurant scene when Pierce and Rene are dinner and his character says something about "his expresso"? I didn´t understand that words game: "would you like to take my expresso"? what was he really talking about whith that phrase? ´cause I didn´t get it.

He asks her, "Can I ask you a very personal question?" and she says, "Ok." Then he asks if she'd like a double espresso of some other caffeine drink.
He's asking if she will go to bed with him. If they're not going to be getting much sleep, it's a good idea to drink some sort of pick me up, like strong coffee.
