i like the bass drum part of this pad better than the one i had before it, but it's still a little too bouncy. i think i'll try putting a sock around it or something haha. Awesome drumming in this vid though

Does it work with a double pedal?

@IGBaguley I would assume yes as the bass drum pad is double the width of my single beater.

Are these expensive, am I better off buying a cheap electric drumkit?

This kit is made of various parts (see video description) but it is mostly made up of the DW Go Anywhere Practice Kit (white pads) which was only £120. The 12" Vic Firth Pad I am using for the snare was £25 and the rest was built by my Dad. The two light weight cymbal stands were £20 (very flimsey but good enough for what I'm using them for). The bass pedal is my Tama Iron Cobra that I use with my acoustic kit.
I would say its cheaper to get a practice kit and an electronic one.

I personally am not much of a fan of electric kits so I decided to try to mimic my acoustic kit's size and shape with practice pads. I got the DW Go Anywhere Practice Kit first and added the rest later.
Hope this answers your question and thanks for watching!
