Nightwish playing Romanticide, from the album "Once", live for the very first time at London's Brixton Academy - March 11th, 2009.

I think Anette really sings this song well.... hopefully you all think the same. Really impressive performance from Anette, the rest of the band... and the whole show was AMAZING!! It was great for the UK to finally see a full show with pyro and everything!

(PS: Same as always on my vids please... be nice... any nasty comments or ones which i consider overly critical for no reason will be removed)

Edit: People seem to get confused on here about why I am deleting some comments but not others. I have said any comments that are derogatory or hateful towards either singer will be deleted, as will any that compare the two. There is no comparison, Anette is in the band now, the end. Comments like "I like anettes interpretation of this song" is a statement not a comparison whereas "singer X sings this much better than singer Y. Singer Y sucks, singer X is the best" is a comparison and will be deleted no matter which way round you are comparing.

Harsh... perhaps.... but I'm not going to be the facilitator of any hateful comments towards either singer - I like them both. Also as I've said before the conversation is closed - if you can't accept change then fine, but don't ruin things for everybody else because of that. Also... for anybody that feels the need to comment - I have deleted comments comparing, and comments that are hateful to BOTH singers, not just the current one!

Anette made this song awsome again! TBH I don't think she did that well with Ghost Love Score but She Gave It a Fucking Go which is still impressive. I was front row seat on the balcony and my neck hurt for three days; the more your neck hurts, the more you enjoyed yourself!

She missed the first high note in the song but think as it was the first time she sang this song it was more a case of nerves and not being used to the song - she seems to be singing it better in later shows which is cool... just a shame I won't get a chance to hear it again on this tour :(

LOL your neck hurt on the balcony? Try squashed against the barrier after being in the cold outside the academy for over 10 hours before the time doors opened :)

nope didn't get anything of Indica sorry. Got a few photos but they didn't have the full lighting on for the support acts so they didn't come out as well as I hoped.

You didn't miss much tho - Indica didn't play nearly as well as when I saw them with Nightwish in 2007, and their setlist was cut way too short because of problems with the soundchecking making doors open late.

It was beyond amazing - was close to, if not the best gig I've been to no exception! Being around my mates all day probably helped but amazing band, amazing setlist, amazing performance, front row, great pics and vids, what more could i want?

Not really, she has an outstanding range, not many people could hit the lower and higher notes like she does

No more "Bye Bye Beautiful"? 'Cause they're over the whole Tarja crap... at least that's what I hope. That's one of the main reasons why I'm dying for the new album. Back to good ol' Nightwish - without the Tarja-break-up songs.
