What is The Atheist Experience?
The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

In the 19th century cholora swept through a London suberb. Scientific minds were set to the task to try and find the cause of the outbreak. Universal scientific opinion was that it was a result of a poisonous vapor filled with particles from decomposed matter that caused illnesses known as Miasma. When one lone investigator discovered it was not Miasma but the culpret was foul drinking water. He was riddicluled by the scientific community. Now we know he was correct. Scientists can be wrong.

@TheRealArchAngel "ID is a method of number crunching life systems for predictive computer modeling..."
Maybe at your 'University Of Make Shit Up As You Go Along' it is but everywhere else in the real world, ID is the unsupported belief that an invisible (un-falsifiable) being created the systems and subsystems of cellular and multi-cellular life (as well as each individual species) in a top down process, from concept to execution.

@TheRealArchAngel "And the reason it can only ever be ACCEPTED in that it isn't Verifiable, Testable,or Falsifiable"
Evolution is a natural phenomenon. The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection IS testable, IS verifiable and IS falsifiable. BTW, not a single piece of data has contradicted it in 150 years.
Your point is...?
"Universe isn't evenly distributed as a "big Bang"" would have made it."
The BB does not predict homogeneous distribution nor is it an inevitable result of the BB.

@TheRealArchAngel Because ID is not a theory, it's a claim that can not be supported and has been debunked at every turn.

@TheRealArchAngel Scientific Theories are accepted based on the available evidence & testing not because It seems to be true or because it's Human Nature to think something must have a beginning. Creationism is an unsupported belief based on faith not evidence. ID is an unsupported Hypothesis. Many people think ID isn't creationism. Many people think it is.

@TheRealArchAngel Unfortunately We still rely too much on Fossil Fuels. W have known of other forms of Clean Renewable Sources of Energy for a long time. If We had started the transition 50 yrs. ago It would have reduced Our dependence on Fossil fuels considerably which would have benefitted the Environment & reduced Our energy cost over time.

@TheRealArchAngel It's been more than 35 yrs. since I read Darwin's Origin of Species. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't believe he presumed Humans came from Apes.

"The Theories of Evolution & Big Bang are accepted, ID is not."
Yes Evolution is "accepted" cause it seems to be the best explination of why we have 80 million+ versions of life(from the same source mind you) on this planet instead of just 1 or 2 "ultimate" ones (rolls eyes)
Yes "Big Bang" is "accepted" cause its human nature to think their must have been "a beginning" and as long as it is a non-religous creation story it's fine(rollseyes)
No,Creationist nonsense"ID"isn't Theory
