Mark Burnett and company are the evil empire, imo. That stupid planted audience who refused to hear the actual reality of things on the previous reunion show still didn't get the message with this disingenuous platform that Jeff gave Jerri (while still jabbing at her).

Her point was not that they're real people, not just characters, but that, in the case of allstars, they knew each others real lives ahead of time, so the game became dysfunctional and very damaging to them, thus their anger.

the fan favorite prize is stupid, because it has nothing really to do with the real game. It's just about how much people buy into the editing, and how the 'characters' are shown. The sheep are voting for characters, which may or may not be related to what actually happens or who the people really are. It's a HEAVILY manipulated show. So, contrary to what Russell would like to think, viewer voting would destroy the game. I put no stock in it, and it cheapens the prize for the real winners.

@linesinaconversation Over the years I have noticed he lets his personal bias dictate his critiques. On the Survivor after this he got onto the winner for lying to the contestant that would be Probst's future girlfriend when she told lies during the game to. He was really critical of the style of game played by the Thailand winner, but he was but-kissing Boston Rob win he finally won
