  • I believe this is also what Oren Lyons mens also in his speach. A moral choice as more than only economics, being in touch with mother earth and life...

  • @riesbergen Yes, genuine morality embraces all-that-is, which means respect of mother nature, respect of others, and self-respect. When morality is understood in its original context, as a respect of all life, moralism is avoided. Moralism is the perversion of genuine morality, it is in this sense I am using the term. Thanks for commenting. Pierre

  • You say that really well, Nelson, talking about a 'default framework'. As I said in the other comment, this default framework of moralism is a politically correct version of what pretends to be morality, but is not. It's a default excuse to be truly responsible, it's a backdoor for those who do not walk their talk, such as most politicians, it's a shield of the heart, it's a cunning witty argument that tries to convince the masses with simplistic either-or judgments that deny complexity.

  • @shamanizing Right, so true.

  • Hello Pierre

Look before you leap, we can see the reaction and the domino effect when we take a pause from blindly reacting to our discursive baseless thoughts
