@surfacing3579 maybe listen to the layers, or just go listen to another one of my songs. the purpose of this song was to be low, slow, and repetitive. Thats why the heavy part is so short. Thats all it is supposed to be. But thanks for such a quick passing of judgement.

@RingoFreakingStarr I know and I agree. But I think the possibility of using an 8 would work. Just because you have the low F# does't mean you have to use it in every riff. There are a couple "djent" style bands that use 8 strings; for example, chimp spanner, I think uneven structure might. Definately chek out these projects if you haven't :)

@zsreich And that's all you need if you are a rhythm biased band like Vildjharta. If you do not need the range an 8 string guitar provides, then just get a baritone 7 or 6 string guitar. The only bands I have seen that make full use of the range an 8 string guitar are Animals as Leaders and Scale the Summit
