Here is my small guide to making brawl machinima. Hopefully, this will clean up some of the bad brawl machinimas out there.

Why do you recommend I-record for long distances between comp. and TV?

Because it doesnt need to be connected to your computer to record.

Why can't you just pause the recording, find the camera angle you want, and then record until you need a camera change.

Wait a second, Can you still see the game on your TV while recording? the only thing i don't undserstand is having to plug all your AV cables into the Machine, and still being able to record even though the game does not show up on your TV. BTW, you DO have to have your comp connected to the dazzle the record, right? and how do you rotate and zoom. I've been dying to know how to do this.
