1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon Tribute

This is my newest ride. This upcoming spring I will be putting 5A heads on it along with a mild cam from a 442. Stay posted for updates. Music is by Kutlass, "It's Like Me".

Nice car. Heres hoping you keep the body nice and original. The duals add a nice look to the rear. If you have the stock rear end it has the terrible 2.14:1 gears connected to a 200 metric trans. A switch to the 442 spec 4 speed automatic with 3.73: gears will make a considerable upgrade to your much freer flowing 5A heads.

@ponchoman49 Thanks! I'm building a 350 Rocket for it now. Nothing crazy but it should run a hell of a lot better than the 307. ;)

@gangstadarrell Thanks man! Yea my car is one of my projects now too. Im building a 350 Rocket to drop in. Has American racing wheels now. Soon to have 442 15" Ralleys, and a lil body work. I will update as soon as I get my camera to hook up to my computer. lol

Lucky you! What a beautiful car, i wish i had an oldsmobile :( I do have a 1988 camaro iroc-z, 5.7 tpi, it doesn't look as good as your salon because it's a work in progress, it's almost ready to be painted! :D I have vids if you wanna check it out

I owned an 85 Salon in 88, gray, wht. pin, T 's, chrome/gold rims, buckets, console, 307 had it for 2 years, I had to have a gray, with T's,chrome/ gold rims ,buckets, console,307- 442 other than a few options, Same car.. with 442 paint scheme..not sure about the 373 10 blt. though? Nothing wrong with the spokes but Chrome/gold wheels & wide, raised white GT Qualifier meats, would re - birth it ,like they say " The wheels make the car" !
