HDindieNews Cargill Grain Elevator Implosion, Calgary - 1080p
One of Calgary's most iconic landmarks, the historic Ogden Federal Elevator in Bonnybrook, a century-old building praised overseas as a model of innovative industrial architecture is demolished in a controlled implosion.
It marks the end of an era for the grain terminal, once one of the earliest concrete structures of its kind built in the Prairies. The 98-year-old landmark toppled in just seconds. Three-camera shoot, including a danger-close camera just 70 feet from the base.
How do you think this video compares to the World Trade Centers? Have you seen footage of Building #7? Search WTC7 for more info and yes, it really happened like that.
