A philosophic question: ''Is it democratic to forbid the participation of undemocratic parties to elections?''
May the answer lies in old quotes?
''The price of liberty, is eternal vigilence'' (Thomas Jefferson)
You can't tell that I'm taking you for fools with that video! It is made to make you think!

As a chinese, I support conservative. Many chinese include me came here for freedom and we know that socialism is a highway toward serfdom. Left wing always the threat to individual freedom.

@blackout1991 You are wrong on this, most of the money comes from little people like me. That is way they always have money to spend of adds because we send in our dues every month.

The conservative party mainly gets his financing from the companies so that the party pay them back with contracts, it is to me an ethic problem to me. But those industries would never finance parties like the NPD because 1. The NPD has actually no chances of been elected to help them back & 2. It is harder to corrupt a politician from a left-wing party since their way of thinkin' the ''socialist'' way is based on serving ' the population before the companies.

U don't want my tax dollars going to the NDP or Green party, I completely agree with cutting funding to political parties. If they can't raise their own money, they should not be there because they don't have enough support from the people.

I guess that the video in it's general idea is hard to get from someone who (no offenses) approve the conservatives or the liberals (wich are at the political right whatever they say). The problem is that the left is devided. ''Divide and rule...'' as Goethe once said! But he also added ''Unite and lead''... Mr. Ignatiev should consider again the coalition idea when we'll be out of the crisis and that Harper will get some more people against him for his bad gestion of that crisis.
