Sardinia, mon amour

Another amusing comic strip by Walter Moers about a sheepherder in crisis.

Walter Moers (born 24 May 1957, Mönchengladbach, Germany) is one of the best-known and commercially most successful German comic creators and authors.

As with many of my videos choosing the music was again my main issue. I first thought of using "O Sole Mio" sung by Franco Corelli but this song was too short, Then I checked out my Dean Martin collection and considered "That's Amore", "Santa Lucia" and "Luna Mezza Mare" but they were in combination with the pictures too cynical or too dramatic. Finally I checked out my classic collection and used "Capriccio Italien" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky which also appeared to be too dramatic. Finally I found "Il Carnevale di Venezia" by Niccolo Paganini which gives this video a lighter note.
