Fist of all children DO NOT need 3 meals a day... otherwise everyone who has skipped breakfast would be dead = everyone. NO one has ever died from sitting out from one meal.

Secondly God is not punishing an entire species... just those who decide to reject him.

If you believe in God, and it sounds like you don't, you would have more respect for his decisions. If he chooses to punish those for whom he gave life... than he can do it how he feels fit. God does not owe me anything.
