  • 'La Venus del espejo' and 'El aguador de Sevilla' were stolen from Spain by the Napoleonic troops.

  • Diego Velazquez ranks right up there with the likes of Caravaggio, Rubens, Vermeer, Rembrandt... and so many other true great master painters!

  • Yo creía que las cámaras eran ya lo bastante sensibles para dar mejor la luz y el color que aquí, que está hecho por un crítico de arte, no por un particular. Se pierden así los resultados de las últimas limpiezas y restauraciones.
