Why all this fuss about the different nationalities and cultures living in Sri lanka, after all they are Sril Lankas by birth or naturalisation and they have Sri lankan pas ports, and they can represent Sri lanka in events like these. U dont have to be a Sinhala Buddhist to take part in these events. Did U all know that miss World 1955, contest the 1st runner up was A sri lnkan "BURER " girl - Maureen Hingert.We were known as Ceylonese then.Learn some history before ommenting rascist remarks

I didn't know Burghers are not Sri Lankan. By the way we all came from somewhere so next time let's find a Vedda to be Miss Sri Lanka.
