I did a series of tests with my Benjamin Trail NP XL 1100 (.22 cal) to see how far a variety of pellets penetrated into, and how much they expanded inside of a ballistics gel block. I fired each pellet from about 4 feet away through a chronograph to measure its velocity, and also measured the heads' diameters to see how much they expanded. Read the titles to see which specific test you're watching.
you should do this in clay then cut in half you can see the trail better and you can reuse it try it it works great :)

This is similar to the results I had when blackpowder hunting using the roundball. There was poor terminal effect on deer and shot placement was critical to avoid loosing a wounded deer. It was absolutely critical to make contact with bone to get any kind of expansion. Thankyou again.
