I have a decent size camel spider as a pet. When I feed i t a cricket, it instantly goes for the head and decapitates it and eats all but the wings. Things are crazy..

@jaha1910 Heheh! They don't actually eat Camels - they have been observed hiding in dead Camels, waiting for prey - Lizards etc.. Cunning critters! ;)

how is it possible to keep camel spiders as pets? i've read everywhere that they die very quickly o_O

@Melanophobie - she didnt last very long, she was old as far as i know, she was found in a pet shop very sluggish. She came to life when i had her for a short while.
