Praising Helvetica is like being an enthusiast about oxygen. Yes, it's a good font, it gets the job done, but how boring can you get? Font designers are out there cranking out great fonts all the time, there are SO many alternatives. Hopefully the future will bring higher res computer screens so these nuances can be better appreciated as often they can only be appreciated in print.
