Playing minecraft 1.8 ( and killing the Enderman)

Playing the minecraft 1.8 pre-release and I encountered an enderman. Turns out they're not too hard to kill.

So...is this "enderman" supposed to be a new enemy exclusive to mincraft 1.8 in specific?

@ShadowEsperKyo yea. Its brand new. They're easy to kill when you have plenty of space to fight them in, but when you run into them in caves you're screwed. lol. Not to mention they look creepy as hell.

maybe if you brightness would be a bit higher it would look nice but it doesn't

@Bigarceus Yeah, even though it's just a bunch of squares (cubes), it still looks quite terrifying. =P (At least, it would be a scary experience to run into one without really knowing what it is). It actually looks like one of those things that are impossible to kill.
