  • wow, there is a town in AUS named ARARAT???

do you all realize that name is ARMENIAN and is so named for a mountain that is the most important symbol in Armenian culture/nation...Mt. Ararat

  • @Hayaserforeveer The explorer who founded Ararat was rather poetic in saying, 'And like the Ark, we will rest here' thus establishing the name Ararat and Mt Ararat

  • Great job you have done. It is great advertising for our town. Go the Rats for 2009 premiers. Once again good job.......

  • and I think Jarrod is one of the Rats top recruits this year

  • Thanks guys

The amazing thing about this video is every one featured is local, no celebrities! I think Jarrod and Karina did a great job, as did every one else

  • @jasc1453 ok first of all, that is really quite offensive because I happen to be Armenian. Second of all, why would you watch this if YOU DON'T GIVE A DAMN?! third of all, the Armenians suffered greatly in the first world war because of... Well I'm a peaceful person so I'm not gonna flip out over nothing like SOMEONE just did. Don't bother to reply, just think about other people and how offended they may become over your dumb comment.

  • @overlander

Yes, and Ararat means Armenia, it is in Bible ...

  • @overlander

that is interesting. well if you wish to know the history of Mt. Ararat, it was named by ancient Aryan proto-Armenians and the patriarch of Armenians: is Hayk Nahapet. who was great-great-grandson of Noah thru his son Yapet (Japet): father of Indo-Euro people.

so it was Noah, his son Yapet, then his son Gomer, then his son Togarmah (or Tiras: debatable), then Hayk, then his son Armenak, and down the royal bloodline of Armenian kingdomship

  • @igor9194 hows is this pathetic fagget
