A spring 2009 production of this play. It's a great piece of Theater and this is one of the performances. Obviously one can't expect the same experience watching the recording as you would from a live show as a lot of material beetween the scenes had to be cut, however, most of the dialogue from the original play is intact. And you can definitely see the tremendous effort on the part of all involved. The writing, the directing, the acting, the set, and the lights all mesh together brilliantly in this project that took a mere 5 weeks to put up from start of rehearsals to opening night. It was recorded with a stationary camera and the operator himself was left with the task of cropping in and out of the action of the play depending on how many actors were on stage in a scene so there is not any real editing that has been done to these videos exept for me cutting it into chunks suitable for a You Tube upload.

  • @71cm "Play" meaning "Do you really want to get involved in this? Because if you do I'll make sure to give you a chance anyway".

  • @ 71crm I think he's asking George if he wants to "play" and telling him that he'll make sure to give him a chance.

  • The dog in the production is a female dog named Atticus. We took some artistic liberty to avoid confusing her...lol.

  • aint the dog suppuz to be blind?

  • @winstontemple Thanks.....Sorry if I'm asking too many questions.....I don't know anything about this paticular production of OMAM and the language in the show is not the type of language we would use nowadays

  • Wow....this is really very well directed!

  • @winstontemple What does "play" mean in this case?

  • P.S. What does Curley mean when he says "You drawin' cards this hand?" and "I'll see you get your chance to ante"?

  • I noticed that they call the dog a she when in fact in the book and the play it's really a male dog....was that just to avoid confusion?
