Ive been watching the simpsons for yrs. It was not the motivation for becoming atheist, committing crime, or being a bad person. It certainly raises good questions, but if anyone wants to learn about a negative impact on the culture and society of the US should definately read about god's works in the bible.

The Simpsons is by no way the longest running animated show of all times.
One simple example, Doraemon started broadcast on 1973, it continues broadcasting new episodes to this date, and has over 2000 episodes.

I love the Simpsons but don't consider them role models, nor do I attempt to emulate their wacky antics, because like most folk I can tell the difference between reality and fiction. That would be hard to explain to a priest, though.

As someone who grew up watching the Simpsons and being christian, I can tell you now, the Simpsons did me no damage, and this guy is full of bullshit. Good thing I figured that out before it was too late.
