Dead Fantasy AMV - Evanescence - Bring me to life

READ THIS FIRST!

So I decided to make this AMV based on the Dead Fantasy series, wich are made by Monty Oum and are based on Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive.

This is the first vid I made with Sony Vegas 7.0 (before that, I used WMM for making vids. WMM was far from powerful enough for my needs, so I switched.)

I'm pretty happy with the result, allthough the song doesn't always apply the the video, and YouTube failed on compressing the 880MB file (wich took me 7.5 hours to upload!!!). Both the video and the audio had been messed up (especially in the lower quality version).

A pretty decent video, all in all. Some effects were put to good use, others were a bit annoying. You would have been better served using this as a test run and deciding what aspects would work for the vid before doing it again. Also, I think you could have orchestrated it a bit better, capturing the power and dramatic effect of the music plus the action.

But like I said, overall a pretty good video.

@Ceraas Thanks for the advice. There is/was indeed a much higher potenional in the synching of the video with the music. At the time I made this video, I was unaware of that. And even now, when I do know that, I'm not sure if I could pull it off, if I'd remake this. I'm not too experienced in video-editing, let alone AMV's.

Can you tell me what effects were "a bit annoying", as you call it?

@5THunderlord I don't know about him, but I would say this effects at 0:19 are a bit annoying, then as he said: pretty decent video.

Haha, nu probs. And I know, it's just really annoying y'know? Like, what's the point; if you really have nothing to do besides start fights, go fight with yourself. But anyways meh. Those are just my views.
