  • @420jeb Remy practices Muy Thai and he lost to Filho, hard to think that there are still people thinking a style is better then another, Biological, cultural, mental and spiritual factors are the ones that determines who wins not the art.

U just practice the one that U like best.

  • @michinco Kyokushin cailms to be the strongest not the best, and it is deu to his training method and philosophy. If you laugh at the loss of tanaka against a man with 70 pounds weight diference and no understanding of the word honor, then I doubt you'll ever understand any of that or even be a Martial artist, just a regular brawler with good technique...

  • @kyokushinheart no what i meant was that these fighters were fighting under kyokushin rules. if the head punches were not allowed and the K1 fighter knew that, then he should not have fought in the first place. K1 places special emphasis on boxing and power punches, not too much about kicking as seen in kyokushin karate

  • @turboman1505 U are right about that, there is a 30 kg weight difference. But I thought we were already clear about why the rules in kyokushin are the way they are.

  • @tayksy well all i can say is kyokushin rules suck. the other guy shouldn't have fought him in the first place

  • what the f*ck was that? Hansel Nightmann kept on punching him to the head, what a dickhead.

  • @turboman1505 There are rules in MMA too. In a "REAL fight" you're also not gonna tell the other person they can't kick you in the balls, headbutt you, use his fingers in your eyes, etc. All of that isn't allowed in MMA, so you could also say the MMA fighter won't be ready for a real fight.

Combat sports are what they are: sports. And sports have rules.

A real street fight is a completely different thing where anything can go.

  • hmmmm seems ridiculous. why would you want to give your opponent a chance to get back on his feet to beat you? sure martial arts is about honour but there is no honour in holding back while fighting. it will show that you are not putting out your full potential.
