  • You got another GI?!? Oh how I missed thee! It just does something to me man. The simplicity and elegance makes me drool.

And thanks a whole bunch for educating me on MIM parts. I didn't have clue. "Men In Midgets?!?!" "Men In Tights?" No, tights starts with T not M... Wow was I pleased to hear the GI model is hammer forged! But Pete one question... Is she a slut?

  • @aaronscrewme SHE'S MY LITTLE CRACK WHORE! lol

  • 1:20 "Raggedy ass! Raggedy ASS!" OH MY SHIT! 0_0 I gave this video a thumbs up in amazement. I had a 5 min. chuckle-GASM! (eww?) hunched over just laughing my ass off. I'll be sleeping well tonight. Thank you.

2:09 AHAHA! Take that fucking Butter Lady (my neighbor with a similar dog, and similar attitude). I call her the Butter Lady 'cuz she wears the most skimpy outfits and has so many bubbles of fat on her body. She'll pace in front of my house everyday yapping on the phone. Nosy as hell...

  • @aaronscrewme lol thanks man glad ya liked the video

  • MIM parts are fine, but in high priced firearms such as Kimber they should really use less MIM. it is expected that with higher price you deserve higher quality.

for gods sake Kimbers have a MIM sear.

once again. not bad in function but there should be little to no MIM. Even Dan Wesson uses no MIM and both the slide and frame are all forged.

  • @espnazi i agree

  • @espnazi I bought a MIMBER raptor II in blue this year and it came with a PLASTIC MAINSPRING HOUSING !! I was so aggravated I traded off the gun, but not before I replaced the mainspring housing. Im gutting my springfield loaded and filling it with ed brown / wilson combat / egw/ harrison machined parts only.

  • Smith and Wesson SW1911 is loaded with M.I.M. parts and I hate em. They look like plastic metal and they are super britle. Sorry just my opinion.

  • Thanks for the assurance Pete . I 'm an old guy ,just turned 50 and was shocked to find that my new Smith&Wesson 642 had m.i.m. parts . I felt ripped off and worried that the trigger would snap off when I needed it the most . I guess it's hard for old guys to accept change or what most call progress . I still lke and trust my old Smiths more ,but wanted the airweight version to carry in summer months in light clothing . Thanks for explaining .

  • @worldaccordingtojim Are you possitive about the frame & slide on the Kimber? All the MIM prts u mentioned I believe I can live with, w/no problem wat so ever and I'll gladly pay the $930. (sale price) in 2003 I payed 4 my Eclipse CLE II tht Kimber only produced 279 of... Maybe some 1 can reserch on the amount of MIM an cast prts are used in world clss Hi end $150,000 PLUS!! luxery & sports cars of the world?

  • I think I'll accept MIM parts. But if they fail, then I guess I can always get solid steel replacement parts.

  • I was concerned about MIM parts with my GI springfield. I appreciate you taking the time to do the research . This clears up alot of questions I had about the reliability of MIM parts. excellent video as always! Thanks Pete!

  • This shit blows!

  • hey pete, if you do want to change out those grips now it the time to do it. SA has their cross cannons 30% off right now

  • If a MIM part brakes call Brownells and get a new one, and put it in.

If thats a problem for you buy a Glock like all the other noobs.
