I would bet if you asked the Skousen why he is at an investment conference when he should be retired and not thinking about investing anymore and enjoying all that big time wealth he has built up over the years he wouldn't. The truth is, he's betted wrong many time and I can speak from looking into this man's background. Plain and simply but, he's not done very well and has picked the wrong route at least 65% of the time. Interesting interview though.

US and EU are in uncharted territory because no nation in history ever had debts this high compared to GDP and when you add derivative liabilities, the numbers are more astronomical. All this will end with currency reset, collapse very unlikely but still possible if a Black Swan event occurs. Next POTUS will be a one term because our debt caused depression will need years to resolve before recovery occurs. People will be impatient.

Whomever this "They" is he keeps referring to must had taken him for the window dressing tour and at least one really good night party so he would be convinced to say these things, probably even thinks he thought up these comments himself.

up a buck eighty two today ....God forbid either major party gets in that office OR the houses...the two parties are both headed to the identical destination, they just take different roads. and they'd better not touch a single entitlement before they STOP THOSE WARS and FOREIGN AID that are REALLY what is hemorrhaging this nation out on to the floor.
