Testing my new Go Pro camera

After an unbelievable morning of surf, I got excited about trying out my new Go Pro camera. I didn't want to try it in perfect waves in case it was distracting or heavy on my board and would ruin my session. So I took it out on this afternoon to try it. I was incredibly impressed by the light weight camera and board mount and high quality of the lens. I can't wait to try it in good waves. goprocamera.com

what about the sticky mount provided? is it easy to place and remove? nice vid anyway

@DamnedBoardRider92 hey there, it is easy to place but not to remove. once it's on there, it's on there! but you can cut it down to just a small piece for the mount and it's solid and not very obtrusive. it's only about 2" square. Another way to do it is to take your board to your ding repair guy and have him install an FCS plug in the nose. the cameras come with an FCS tab that you can use to attach it. I've used both methods and both are good.

Was you using the suction cup mount in this video? I have recently got one and have not used it yet and was wondering how it holds up in the water? Thanks

the suction cup mount will work on a standup paddle board but not a surfboard. this is just using the sticker mount. good luck!
