  • LUCIEN CARREON 9001030 JESUS AS LAMB OF GOD

jesus as the "lamb of God" is referring to him as the perfect sacrifice for sin. As they say, the coming of Jesus Christ means "the guilt offering".

Passover meal is connected with the Christian worship because it serves as the foundation of what Jesus has started to unite His people. Through the passover meal we remember the sacrifices of Jesus for us.

Passover meal reminds us about the last supper and the Calvary of Jesus. Passover serves as memorial to us.This Passover meal is connected in our christian worship in a way that it reminds us for our sins and how Jesus sacrificed and died on the cross just to save us.

Jesus is a perfect sample of lamb. In the old testament, lamb was sacrificed for the sins of the people. Jesus served as a lamb when He suffered and died to save us from our sins. That's why, He is called the "Lamb of God" for He is also the Son of God.

  • 9001030:GUILLEN Sehz Jesus as the Lamb of God

Lamb symbolizes innocence. We call Jesus as the Lamb of God because he was PURE,a perfect sacrifice. In exo. they slay the Passover lamb and apply the blood to their doorposts to protect them from the angel of death. In the same way,He covered us with His blood to save us.He fulfilled the words which Abraham spoke to his son, "God himself will provide a lamb for sacrifice."This is the lamb which takes away the sins of all men(John 1:29).

The connection of Passover meal and the Eucharist.

As Christians we commemorate the Passover meal during our mass. We eat bread as part of the communion where we remember God's goodness in our lives and in the lives of the Israelites before.

CONNECTION BETWEEN PASSOVER MEAL AND EUCHARIST.

There is a strong connection between the two. During our Christian service, we practice Communion as a commemoration of Jesus Christ's sacrifice. We eat unleavened bread as part of our communion like the Israelite did. It is also like giving thanks to God for all his blessings for us.

What do we mean when we call Jesus the "Lamb of God"?

“Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29)

To be called a Lamb of God means that God gave Jesus to be killed like a lamb for our sins so we could live forever.

God gave His only Son to redeem us and save from our sins..

LIVE BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT :)) God bless...

There, a strong connection between the Passover meal and the Christian worship. Passover meal l is annually celebrated by Jews to thank god for saving them from the bitternes and slavery from the Egyptians. As for Christians, during our worship we celebrate the goodness of the lord for giving us his begotten son and save us from sins. During our worship we are reminded of all God has done and will do.
