I rip through some early Billy Squier tunes on a brand spankin' new Squier Affinity Series Telecaster Special (the blonde 51' Style model). I'm well aware that I messed up in a few places.

FINALLY...somebody who knows how to get a good full Billy Squier tone out of a Tele. The Squier Affinity Series stuff plays surprisingly well once you perform standard setup procedures. (Install a good brand of strings, check/adjust the neck bow, set the string height and intonation) And many of them play quite nicely right out of the box, as well. Not bad at all for an import line of guitars. Bonus points for the ever classic PacMan shirt!

I'm torn. I have the money to get either a 72 corvette or a 63 telecaster. Which one? The vette needs some restoration and the telecaster is perfect.

hey man how to you restring through that bridge? Iam having a hell of a time getting the string to go up to the saddle since its not a string through. any help would be great.
