for years ive been looking for an advert from the late 80s around to the early 90s and cant find it, i KNOW IT HAD THE SUPREMES -stop in the name of love song, its done my head in not finding it for years!!

the mcewans ad was sent up by the late great rikki fulton gregor fisher and tony roper on scotch and wry either at christmas or hogmanay '88-'89! look it up!

Possibly from the last week of '88 ... the music on the McEwans ad is "You've Got The Power" by arch pop schemers Win, which became a huge seller in Scotland (but not England) after the ad was shown during the '86 World Cup, specifically during Scotland matches.
