@engramedia Questa non è "La" follia, è "una" follia, che è come dire corrente, sarabanda, giga... In questo caso particolare, questa è La Follia di Vivaldi: una sonata a 3. Corelli, come tanti altri, ha composto una follia, ma non è questa. :o)

@rollino71 Incorrect, this is the Vivaldi version. The Corelli version is in the Key of D Minor and is made to be played at 440. The Vivaldi playing is in the key of C at a much lower cent range, and came before Corelli's...

ad essere sinceri "La Follia" è una delle più antiche, se non la prima, composizione che si basa sulla forma di tema e variazione, e sembra esse una composizione di origine popolare, che poi, viste le sue enormi potenzialità sonore è stata riveduta da molti grandi maestri fra cui Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi e Tommaso antonio Vitali. però la paternità nuda e cruda della composizione è ancora ignota!
