  • yeah, well its okay, i understand your protest and i wish you all the best of luck.

  • Wow, that was really uncalled for. It's unfortunate that happened to you. All of us protested peacefully on Tuesday and yesterday (Saturday, Jan. 3rd). I'll upload the video soon so you can see that those individuals who attacked you do not represent what we're all about.

It's important not to generalize based on those experiences. They were being stupid and immature. It has nothing to with their religion or ethnicity. There are stupid and childish people everywhere.

  • oh no no, thats not what i meant by terrorists. i was callin the people who charged me terrorists. i understand why you're protesting....So, i was skateboarding at city hall, and they started charging at me with flags yelling things and differnet languages that i didnt understand, they pushed me and i fell then shoved me again into a wall. but i didnt want to call the police, because we all know how much they hate skateboarders.

  • Ok, I only made that comment because of how you wrote "terrorists" at the end of your first comment. And, as we all know, the prevailing stereotype is that Arabs and Muslims are terrorists. This is not only a generalization, but it promotes ignorance and creates unnecessary divisions.

I am upset that you were attacked. Would you care to describe what happened? Like I said before, their actions don't represent what we stand for. They don't help our cause at all. They only make things worse.

  • i understand what you are saying. but im not calling them terriorsts because of there skin color. if a white person would have done that they'd still be a terrorist in my eyes.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Could you please describe the incident? Whatever the case, the rest of the protesters do NOT support that kind of behavior. It does not represent what we're standing for.

I also have to point out that it's immature for you to stereotype us as "terrorists." Incidents like that occur in all kinds of protests, but if those individuals were white, you wouldn't call them "terrorists."

I am probably just as American as you are. There is no need to generalize.

  • i was attacked by one of these "peace ful" protestors today. terrorists.
