hey man, nice video, it's helping me quite a bit. But i still have some doubts. I'm making a brochure with a tab on the bottom, and since i have those lines defining the limits and defining where to fold, i'm still wondering if they'll appear when i print it?

Very good vid. As a diemaker I often work from illustrator PDFs. Would be nice if everyone used black for dielines and confirms if what you see is the die line itself or the diecut around the object. many times I had to print out mirror image to stick to dieboard.

Absolutely, when we send our die lines to the die shop we separate them, 1 file with just the die line in black and 1 file with the artwork and die line as a mockup. We request that clients send us files with the die line and art together so that our file prep department can confirm cut locations and ensure that there are not going to be issues with registration.
