"Finnish countryside" :) Just saw a picture of my grandma taken in 1920 in Lappeenranta. That's the very same countryside where the Russian elite used to go to bathe. Nowadays it's more or less the ordinary Russians who come here, my hometown, to enjoy the fresh air and the quality services.

That was a sweet thing to do and a wonderful story. I cant imagine the the things see must have seen and been through. I notice that this is dated from 2 years ago. Is she still living? I hope so.

Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate what you had to say. My grandmother died July 2008. She was 101 1/2. I'm so grateful I was able to get the book to her before she passed...and that I was able to write it. If you purchase it, I hope you enjoy it. Best. Robert
