  • but, watching the video... it was kind of fun.... i will try it sometime again in the future.... but i am mainly a sketch comedian, and i will remain that way

  • i just got back from my very first stand up attempt... i made people laugh twice... failed at two jokes, mainly due to delivery, and got off the stage after doing like 1 minute and a half... basically, i forgot everything because of fear and distractions

  • Wait was that the redeeming or the bombing, cause that's not bombing, pretty fun haha

  • @comedianscottnelson I think you had pretty good material but you rush through everything, and as a result seem kind of anxious, that style will work sometimes and sometimes it won't. Pacing yourself will give you better consistent success.

  • @comedianscottnelson (cont.) least just appear to be the guy at the party who doesn't run up and jump on a table to show off... but is in the corner making a comment about the shirt the guy who is doing that is wearing. You have a great personality for comedy, and a good presence. Just DON'T ever be discouraged by one show. Cause you're funny. And can go somewhere. Don't beat yourself up EVER. "That's pride fuckin' with you".

    But that's just my advice.

  • @comedianscottnelson Well, let me preface this by saying I'm not a comedian, and I'm only 15, so you can take or leave my advice or whatever...

    It just seemed a bit anxious. Like you were scared of, not necessarily the audience, but just how they would take to you. Which is *completely* understandable. There just weren't the pauses in there to give it the feeling of "I know what I'm saying, I know what I'm doing...". In comedy, silence (as I see it) can be crucial. Just don't be worried. Or at
