I'll vote for Ron Paul because he will balance the budget within three years. I'm not about to pay more taxes while Newt and Romney continue inflating the size of government. Big ideas and management savvy won't revive the dollar.
Who will fix our economy?
The guy who's never voted to raise your taxes, who's never voted for an unbalanced budget and who accurately predicted the collapse via the housing bubble and the Fed's artificially high interest rates.

This primary election is giving me a headache. First off there are 2 things i do like about Ron Paul 1.He is PRO-LIFE. 2. He wants to audit the Federal Reserve. Disagree with his foreign policy view. Newt came off a bit whiny and Romney was Mr.Robot. Santorum is a very long shot. Having said all that , when it's Ohio's turn to vote (my state) I'll go with Santorum. As for the general election anyone BUTT Barack-Barry Hussien Soetoro-Obama.
I love your description of the candidates. Spot on. I don't know if Gingrich could beat Obama, but having a strong VP would give him a better chance. Personally I'm leaning towards Newt. We need a fundamental change in this country. The moon base idea would pay for itself with Helium-3 for nuclear fusion, which would get private industry involved. Plus it would inspire people to move towards technology and science careers, and that's what this country needs.

@jepst41 In my day job I work with a lot of Professor Big Ideas, they are great at generating new ideas, but terrible at execution. Managers can at least execute. Plus Managers, like Romney, have fired people. Think "firing government employees" Hmm.

@THINKfutureShow Either one of them would be better than what we have now. With the imminent collapse of the entire US economy, it seems to me like it is a choice between "Mr. Manage the decline" and "Big Ideas that may actually pull us out of this mess." If Romney is the nominee, I'll bet he tries to get Marco Rubio on the ticket.

@jepst41 Right - normally I wouldn't defend Romney but in this case he might be the right non-Ron Paul pick, especially if he downsizes the government like he did all those companies he took over. Now talking about that would probably be a winning campaign strategy - image him pounding the podium and saying "I'm going to downsize DC just like I did Company X" - still that would rob us of that awesome Newt/Barack bitch slapping session I'm so looking forward to.
