Cooking with Kenshin1913 - Grammie's Baked Mac & Cheese

Hello and welcome to Cooking with Kenshin1913. In this episode, I am joined with my mom and we make our Grammie's Baked Macaroni and Cheese. This is a recipe passed down 4 generations in our family.

Ingredients
1 box of Elbow Macaroni (1lb)
2 Cups of Milk
4 Tablespoons of Butter
4 Tablespoons of Flour
1/2 Lb of American Cheese
4 oz of Monetary Jack Cheese (you can use which ever you like)
1 Slice of White Bread

Optional Ingredients
Dash of Nutmeg
Dash of Pepper
Breadcrumbs for the top

Tools
2 Pans (one for boiling the water for Macaroni and one for the sauce)
1 Casserole Dish
1 Spoon (preferable wooden)
1 Measuring Cup

@ragespot The spice is that we used is Nutmeg. We used a pinch/dash of it at the end. You should be able to get the powdered form at where ever spices are sold.

@GameMasterpg Well this is one of the reasons why I started making these videos is to show people how to make home made meals so people don't have to buy frozen macaroni and cheese meals. Actually many grocery stores and even Wal-mart sells all the items you need to make this dish.

What your mother did for the last few minutes that is something people most likely will not with kind we buy in frozen Mac & Cheese. But what store do we need to shop at to buy the best Ingredients for making meals. I do my food shopping at Wal-Mart and they don't really sell things for making nice home cooked meals.
