Tip #1: Always dust crickets with both vitamin and calcium powder.
Tip #2: Young cresteds often take a few weeks to become interested in hunting crickets, give them time. Don't give up.
Tip #3: Always feed crickets in a substrate-free environment to prevent impaction.
Tip #4: Never feed crickets that are longer than the space between your geckos eyes. Feed them smaller than they need, if possible.

There will not be a Crested Gecko Diet feeding video. There are, however, many videos of that sort made by other YouTubers, so if you want to see a crestie eating CGD, watch one of them. My crested is never seen eating it, but I know he does.

  • @MiniWheat321 :

Sure! Just message me the video once it's posted and know that it may take me a day or so to get to it.

  • I just bought a young crested gecko 4 days ago and about the size of yours and I was wondering why it is not hunting the crickets like yours is and if possible how to get him to hunt them like yours? thanks and nice vid

  • @MiniWheat321 : Not all young geckos will do that. It took mine about four months to start. Just give it time, there's no hurry. :)

Yep, that's fine, it can also be more fun for you! :D

  • OK, I just got a crested, and I was wondering, do they eat normally if you take them out of their environment, because I fed mine by just holding the crickets in front of his face, is that OK to do?
