maybe change the description to 'champion' pickup as the later post 55 6 string champ steel pickups are the same as the duosonic/musicmasters, no ? maybe get more business that way...keep up the good work ! do you make 43 awg alni 2 esquire/broadcaster pickups ?

yes I love the sound of my pine champion so much that I has to build a pine esquire/tele as well...
-
@BWP58 yes its light like pine - funny how big the lines of end grain are in it but I havent worked with pine enough to know how much it varies
-
@BWP58 it is probably pine -- 1949 - 50 I have one as well -- same body shape - different than the later ones...
-

nice 1 that's a champion -- does it have slot head screws ? closed back tuners ? pine or ash ?

@BWP58 I dont know what the wood is as its covered with pearloid but you can see grain telescoping through on the sides under the pearloid that looks like ash but if it is ash its very light weight. Its one of the hundreds of champs someone stole the pickup out of to put in a telecaster so I got it dirt cheap- tuners are originals off another champ and are closed back- none of the screws are original. Needless to say I have made alot of replacement champ pickups.
