Hi spoilerkid100.. I don´t get you very well.. you can´t download video to your PC with the Movie Box Plus?
-
It´s possible that you have setted the TV Standard wrong. Check that before going to the Capture Mode, and also check the VTR is already sending video signal when you switch your software to Capture Mode too.

I plug my Xbox analog cables into this and get "No Valid Input Signal"
Am I doing something wrong?

Check the TV System setted in Studio. I think it should be NTSC. And then, be sure your XBox is sending video before you go to Studio Capture tab. If that does not work, try chaging the cables and be sure your X Box is giving NTSC video.

Question: do you know why if I capture a 2 hour vhs home movie with this device, does the video file take up 20gb of space on my hard drive. I am using mp4 so i don't think that it should take up so much space. If you have any ideas let me know.

Are you sure you´ve checked you are capturing in MPEG4? Might be you are using AVI and the file size for an hour of AVI video is 12GB, so that would be logical.
