I was lucky enough to be one of the kids on the Mayor Art show and witness live TV first hand at KRON when Jack Hanson was the floor manager, 1963. While children audiences were entertained by Mayor Art (Finely), a young and good natured Jack Hanson was running around with his headset making sure the thing went out. He even answered the phone at KRON when my Dad called to verify that my name was called. After that, I've always had a lot of respect for this guy.
