@JIZZZification You are correct in that the median is the middle number so for a data set that has an even number of data points, the median is calculated by taking the average of the two middle numbers. As you pointed out, the median for a data set that has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 would indeed be 3.5. Thanks for pointing this out for others.
if that is all about the median then one probably be failing on his or her exam... how about if the number(N) of given set of datum is even number?
