And by the way, I earn 10$ an hour, I live alone and pay all my bills. I work in the service industry. We are busier now then we were last year. Canada's exposure to the USA's crisis is low. We will feel some effects on exports, but we will see cheeper goods from across the border. Deflation isn't all that bad either. It means your moneys worth more than it was last year. Be glad we're not seeing inflation, where you'd really feel the pinch.

Steven Harper says everything will be fine in Canada. This man came in on a thriving economy and booming oil prices. Lets see how he does with $50 oil, declining home prices, job losses and an economy heavily linked to the US. We should be afraid, very afraid.

Many of the same people who attended the last Bilderburg meeting. Suprise, suprise.
Afraid? In Canada, you can get a loan, in America, you cannot. What were the biggest complaints of the last few years? Oil and home prices. Now they're coming down, and everyone is afraid? The dollar goes up, exporters complain, it goes down, importers complain. We haven't seen significant job losses, we've seen a slow down, but still gains in job creation. The USA's economic bubble of 8 years burst, and now the markets are just adjusting themselves.

The confidence you display on an issue you clearly do not understand is astounding.
